350w is not much heating power for a New York winter. Is your room insulated? How big is it?

100 sq.ft insulated but not air sealed/tight. Previous years I used 2- 125W lamps when temp hit single to minus degrees.

Nothing but marketing hype. Looks kind of cheap and unsafe. Get one with a cord, a better case and safety features. All electric resistive heaters are efficient and this one isn't better in that respect. Get one that's safer.

Electric resistive heaters are efficient but the most expensive way to heat a room.

The price is outrageous for what you get.

This is what I use and would recommend something similar. Just set it low so it on my comes on if the temps get near freezing. You don't need it 60 degrees in there. They also turn off if they get knocked over. We use these in well pump houses and have great results with them. I have seen people's heat lamps catch things on fire if they fall over or something gets too close to them.
