      Cold day in F L A

43 Chilly degrees went I set out on my morning walk, but when I got to the nursery after breakfast, there was color to be seen. And thankfully, while there was some patchy frost in the area, the only "snow" to be seen is on a Snowflake Lily I got years ago from Mexico. I can't recall a butterfly ginger (Hedychium sp) blooming this late before, but it is the time to harvest our red turmeric. < g > The lilies are just a pink and a blue capenis and a Neotropical night bloomer ,a Hydrocallis, Nymphaea prolifera.

      Enjoy.

I bet it does too. I didn't know it would get that cold where you live. I have one yellow hardy lily that has one bud above the water, but I don't think it will open now.

      Beautiful blooms.
