So did your fix stop working?
I use a strip of epdm glued to my rock to make a sheer effect that's pretty quiet.

yup it was fixed before, but i used a Matala mat to try to slow down the flow of water out, and Matala mats are quite soft, so it fell of a while ago .
I'll replace it with Japanese mat which should last longer and is also stiffer
I'll try to get it done this weekend, will post update here

Possible solution 1 increase water level or bring the height of the water fall down or extend water fall lip lower into the pond.

Solution 2 is to slow down the pump

I just placed a couple of rocks over the 4" return of this lower basin to keep it from looking like a geyser
and this is what it looks like with the epdm on the 4 ft. wide rock...

About 5,000 gph from the basin return and another 2,000 gph of so from the steam so about
7,000 gph total over the rock.

Sounds quieter to me, but that could be in the video. I don't know why you would want it any quieter than that. Is someone complaining? Part of the appeal of a waterfall to me is hearing the water running over the rocks.

Thanks no complaint so far from neighbors, but iím worried that they might not like string sound of water all the time?
