      an otter from Stanley Park killed 10 out of 14 long time resident koi in this public garden pond Chinatown. The otter could not be captured and evaded baited traps.

      In 2007 my pond was wiped out by river otters.
      Need more Koi

      Happened to me in 2008 ... I live just across the gulf from Vancouver and had to laugh when the news reported that the park was looking for ways to deter the otters. Good luck with that!
