      ONG! No matter what it has in terms of filtration & water cleanliness, those poor fish don’t have an inch of space to call their own! That’s horrible!

      The beauty in a koi pond is its serenity. There is none in that pond. Maybe they are planning a fish fry for the whole town.

      Honestly, I thought that both ponds and the fish within them were quite beautiful. I suspect that the appearance of over-crowding may have been somewhat exacerbated by the fish concentrating themselves in areas where feeding was anticipated to soon occur. I have no idea, however, how anyone can keep that density of fish (I will assume that the fish are ~ healthy) and simultaneously maintain clear water. I would love to know how those ponds are filtered.
