      Planning for tpr’s

Hi, all! Are my planned locations for tpr’s (marked in red) ok?
The blue mark in the middle is for a bottom drain and the one to the side (also blue) is for the skimmer.
Pond is 12x10 and planning on making it 3.5-4 ft deep. I will locate the tpr’s 18” from the bottom.
I cannot put one on the right side because that is where the patio is.

Getting rid of the mound of dirt as soon as I rent a dumpster and start with the real digging.

Those will work, both pointing counter clockwise.

Would it matter if the tpr is located directly below a waterfall? Waterfall will be in the center. Would it affect its performance? Maybe I can move it to the left a bit more.

point them down ...and I know it is best to try and do what you can but that pond is not going to flush because of tpr's. i actually think tpr's were corrupted into the hobby from how they work in completely circular structures, like vortex chambers...the true tpr-ness is completely thwarted by anything but a circle. I',d actually just put the returns as close to the bottom and in the corners as I could and let it go.
