      Beni cant come back?

Might be short lived but my kohaku went all muji other then 3 red scales. 3 months later and 3 weeks of feeding color food it got some beni back.

It was coming back before color food and I've been feeding 50% color. The fish is still a mutt. I've never seen beni come back though

I'm feeding 50 % color food for a month. Seeing if color food will help with stretched beni from growth season..I dont worry on food costs much.

Beni very rarely comes back. There's a better chance that all beni will be gone by the end of next season.

I agree. It was cool to see it come back. I need to rehome it but I like hanging onto them for awhile

The downside to feeding all that color food is that you will cause harm to the white while trying to bring back the red. Even if you save the red, your white might get a pink hue. I would save the color food and let it go full muji.

Yes. But when I cut back the food in colder temps the shiroji will get more white again. I'm going to cut the color food soon and was just short term and not for the muji koi but for the other kohaku
