Updating Pond - Deals on RDFs?

Time for me to final expanding and update my pond. Increasing to 10,000 gallons. Any suggestions on where I could find a good deal for a red label or profidrum rdf for my pond?

Haven't seen any good deals. Very rarely they show up used but that is only when someone is closing a pond. There is nothing else to upgrade to other than going larger so most people don't have a reason take them out of their system once they have them.

I can tell you its one of those items that stings when you make the purchase but once you see it in action and realize how much work it is saving you and how great the pond looks that initial cost is quickly forgotten.

Get ready to be put over a barrel or a drum in this case.

Bought an Eco 55 but opted for the Combi 50
Will let it go for the right price otherwise it will be installed with another pond in the future

If I recall, the 55 is rated at 9,200 gph. Since the OP has a 10,000 gallon pond, that's probably about right for a moving-bed filter, but may be too small if you want to run a shower filter.

I'm using combi 50 for my 15-18k gallon pond. 3 pumps running about 20k gals per hour even though the system is rated for 13k

How much draw down are you getting? Flowing more than recommended is not the best thing to do. Cool you are getting away with it but your relying on each 4 inch inlet to flow 5,000 gph and asking the outputs to do 10,000 gallons each.

The combi 50 has 4 inlets and 3 outlets. Pumps are doing about 6.6k gallons per hour on each outlet
