      Distribution pipes are less effective and often restrictive. Something like the Zakki Showers distribution tray much better.

      I try to get as much coverage as possible from spray bars , and then place plastic pegboard under them to get even distribution .

      So you place plastic pegboard under each of your tote? After that the media sit on top of those plastic pegboard?

      Plastic peg board. I wish I'd seen this before drilling a gazillion holes in my trays. Dang it! Gotta get me some of that!

      They are only 16’’ x 16’’ , and good for a top distribution plate. If You didn’t want to drill holes in the bases of shower trays , try some of these PVC perforated sheets , I’d get the 1/4’’ Thick stuff to support weight .

      Thanks! I drilled the holes in the top tubs that distribute the water. The trays are stacks of milk crates. Holes to spare in those, haha
