      Fish bloated?

I did a water change on the pond today, and netted out some of the fish, because I was a little worried, because some of them look like they might be bloated. Do they look fine, or do they look bloated? I gently pushed on their abdomens, and they felt soft, so that is why I think it might be eggs, but some of the fish are still pretty small, so I'm not totally sure. The fish are acting fine.

I don't see "bloat" as the term is commonly used, synonymously with dropsy. With that you would see the scales sticking out from the body like a pine cone. It is easier to see when the fish is in the water than out. These look like drop-bellies, which can happen through genetics or overfeeding.

What are drop bellies? Do they go away? I am cutting back on feeding them, because the weather is cooling off.
