There appears to be leasions on the head between the eyes and mouth and there seems to be rotting of the tail. In my research it appears similar to Costia but after finding out about his purchasing the fish about a week and half ago I have started researching KHV. He has treated the pond with potassium permanganate a week ago however when I ask him if the water turned purple he said no. I don’t think that it was treated properly. He has done 10% water changes for a week and did a 50% water change last night.
I chatted with him just a little bit ago and he said the fish is still breathing! I’m amazed
Can anyone tell me what the visible signs could be if it is KHV?
