      K2

Having just shut down my pond, I have six 15 gallon bags of K2 for sale. [Actually, used a 5.5 gallon bucket x3 so probably more than 15 gallons in each bag]. Looking to get $100.00 a bag. I'll have general shipping costs, to be paid by buyer, in a couple days...using UPS ground. email me at gfwachter1@gmail.com if interested...Rochester, NY

Each 7 gallons is one cu ft , so you have about 2 cu ft of media in each 15 gal bag .

Is the media used? Can the media can hold diseases and unwanted bacteria that you had in your pond and maybe not even known about?

It is always a good practice to treat any media with appropriate amounts of PP (potassium permanganate) for a period of time and thoroughly rinsed before putting it into filter. Specially for these (K1, K2 or other plastic media) it has added bonus for such treatment.

while I might not have been nice to the seller, my post has surely been informative and helpful to potential buyers. And I believe that is what this forum is all about.
Yes, that's what Koiphen is all about... but this forum (Trader) is not the right one to do it in.
Start a new thread in the Construction forum if you want to discuss difference in media and prices,
      not on someone's sales thread.

I would consider any reasonable competitive offer for the K2....
