      Southern California hobbyists are lucky to have several Koi dealers, like Andrew's Koi International, to buy Koi from.

      I don't know. I assume that they all came from the same famous Japanese breeder.

      I love me some yamabuki but it’s so hard to get them jumbo. They’re not big eater as chagoi or karashigoi. Mine got to about 25” and slow down on growth

      Dennis or sac town koi retired his yamabuki from shows. He has a big chagoi now that he brought to last show. He knows how to grow fish well Haha

      Thanks Kevin for the shoot out yeah my yama is 37" and retired from show she is the only original one left since we started our pond in 2005 and is my wife favorite a lot of sentimental value too.
