Labor Day Lilies
With the tropical storm off the coast, it was a blustery day to be sure. But there was a lull in the squalls and someone had asked if I still had plants, so I ventured out to take a few pictures to help celebrate the holiday. Some lilies still looked presentable.....and the runner ducks frolicking in the pond? Glad as I am they were enjoying themselves....that is actually the pasture for the horse and not a pond. Seems I'll need a few bales of hay to tide the horse over until fry pasture is available again. < g > Oh and the winds blew over a 20 gal pot of turmeric and when I uprighted it...I noticed a bloom!
