Looks to be gone
It has pretty much seemed to be on its' deathbed for the last few years like NI, Koishack and so many others before it. I check about once a week looking for a new post here and there. Hopefully it will reappear.
If not, although a lot of the info contained there is now outdated or obsolete, there are some classic gems there that IMO should be preserved.
If they do not come back, maybe WWKC can buy the info from Brian and make a new WWKC section "KoiBito Archives" for our WWKC members?
Just a thought
Hopefully it will continue.
Koiphen has definitely been alot slower also. Facebook isn't really that busy either imo.
I'm actually going to be supporting the forum again with a vendor space so stay tuned. I've had some pretty heated arguments on here but also have pretty thick skin and brush it off. Regardless of where you go it will be the same people arguing about the same old thing and seems everyone just keeps more to themselves now. We are all entitled to our own opinions and make us who we are really
Not the first time in the past 15 years that Koi-Bito has gone off the air. Let's hope it is back later this week.

I agree. However; if it is not coming back, would you support the idea of WWKC purchasing the site's data and making it all available for WWKC members to access and read only a "KoiBito Archives Forum"? Obviously, no one would have the ability to post, but would have the access to read only. History Preserved!
As you know, I sold Koiphen to WWKC a decade or so ago for $1. I no longer am a mod, admin or a member of the BOD! But I am a WWKC Member!
This decision would solely be made by the BOD of WWKC and I imagine that it would be dictated by the cost and the interest of the members!
Please speak your thoughts and opinions folks!
Its dead?
Ironic when you do a Google search for Koiphen this 2006 koi-Bito thread on the turmoil and imminent collapse of Koiphen usually is the second item listed.
Probably best described as friendly competition with simular services.
