What are these large egg-like things in my pond?

I was clearing out the intake on my small pump when I found a few round white balls about 4mm in diameter I squished them and clear liquid came out. I have a month old pond with three 8-6 inch koi probably 1-2 years old, seven 3.5-2 in goldfish, and a few Mosquitofish(livebearers). I looked around the pond and I found more of these "eggs" most of them squished flat. Im wondering what these could be, if anyone has any ideas of what they could be please let me know. BTW my pond is small only 500 gal, i know it is too small for koi, when they get too big for my pond they will go to my grandma's 1500 gal pond.
      Thanks!

      Hi Joefisherguy, Welcome to Koiphen!

The things in your pond are like little globs of slimey gel? Those are snails in the embryo stage. Please believe me, you don't want those in your pond! These are not the snails you buy to eat algae. These are like cockroaches, once they start multiplying they can overrun your entire pond and filtration system. See this post from 2015, and I'm still trying to get rid of them! http://www.koiphen.com/forums/showth...il+Infestation

      Seriously, they're bad news.

No, the things in my pond are not eggs, they look like airsoft pellets but are hollow and easily squished, i would think they are unfertilized koi eggs if they were not so big. Thanks though.
