I had never seen Koi club member Chris's pond and I like palms, cycads, and tropical plantings. So I attend today's Koi club meeting.
When we got to meeting home... the side gate was open, which means come on in.
Walking through the gate the first thing I saw was:
A deep sump area with a WLim pump and a 55 gallon barrel acting as a pre-filter before the pump.
On the Left of the pre-filter is the pipe from the pond and a knife valve.
