Feeding Red Eared Sliders and Introducing a new Turtle

      I have a few questions.

      1. What is the best way to feed the turtle? The turtle shares the pond with my koi and their is no areas other than the rock he can come out for sun that is dry land. I have attached a photo.

      2. I plan on adopting another turtle later this week. Is there anything I should do before I put the turtle in the pond
( Should I worry about disease or contamination?)

Are they Red Ear Sliders? Where will they over winter?

Beautiful pond. How deep is it?
