My external pump used for my skimmer/S&G filters adn waterfall died.

It's an Advantage 2500 and is the perfect size for it's use. I'd love to find another one, inexpensively. It was flooded so I took it out and let it dry out overnight. I can plug it into a regular outlet and it works fine but will not run on the pond circuits (GFCI) - trips it off every time I plug it in. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Great to see you posting Sarah!!

Did you try another GFCI protected outlet just to be sure it's not the outlet itself? It's a long
shot but might be worth a try.

I’m guessing it will work fine after it dries out completely

Pro motor shops put them in an oven at low temp. Use a cooler with an incandescent light in it. Be careful with the bulb.

I did, Steve! Great to see you, too! It's not the outlet because I can plug other things into it and it works fine. I also tried plugging it into another GFCI outlet and it did the same thing - shut off. I'm hoping that if I let it dry out a little longer it will work OK. I just don't want it to rust and seize up on me.
