      Yamabuki ogon

Hello all, just got a new addition to my pond this year. A yamabuki ogon 22inches was told to be a female but look male to me , breeder izumiya 3 years old. Let me know what you guy think. It's a bit skinny at the moment.

Very skinny tail tube after some better feeding habits might end up better and the female belly may come out.. the fins seem male to me though

That looks like a boy to me. My serious critique - the frame is small and so is the tail tube. The color seems dark and it may result in orange spots developing. It also seems pretty small for a 3 year old yamabuki. That aside, the skin quality, scalation, and fukurin look really beautiful. Also, i like the head shape and proportions on this fish. All in all, if the fish fills out and the yellow does not turn orange, this will be a good looking fish.

Looks male to me, but for a male it is of reasonable width, except for the tail area which is slightly off proportion from the whole body. Color is fine, bright yellow in contrast to the black pond background, enough to catch attention. Also, I really like how your fish does not seem to have a shoulder hump. (I dislike shoulder humps )
