      Koi Floating on Side Help

      Hi All,

      Im new to keeping Koi. I have 10 Koi in a 3000L setup for a few months. One of the Koi just started floating on its side, its still breathing normal but not attempting to swim.

      Please answer some questions. What are the pH, ammonia, nitrite readings? Have you added new fish in the last 2 months? Were they quarantined and if so, how? What is the water temp?

      As our temperatures are increasing, yours may be falling. I don't have a clue what your temperature levels are, but laying over is fairly common when the water temperature falls to 40F/4C. I would think the time is a little too soon for that low of temperatures, but not familiar with your temperature ranges.
