      Coral Bark Japanese Maples ?

Since my terrible experience with redoing my foundation...I find myself redoing my landscaping also.
I had a beautiful weeping Cherry tree that was ripped out and so many other flowers. I replaced the
cherry tree, but am now wanting to put some dwarf coral bark Japanese Maples. I was wondering if in
Zone 6B/7 can they take direct sun or should it be 1/2 and 1/2. I heard that they take sun better than
most. Please give me some advise. It will be the front of the house which faces North, if that helps any.
I am getting a lot of conflicting statements when I do a search

      Thanks so much.

I have one in the middle of my back yard, zone 7a/7b in full sun and it is doing great. It has been there for probably 15 years and is now probably about 18 feet tall.

I think we’re gonna need some pics of that one Rich! It’s probably quite stunning.

Thanks so much Rich...I also would love to see a picture. I have 3 different ones. Sango Kaku, Winter Flame, and Aka Kawa Hime.

Thanks so much for the pic, Rich. The Sango Kaku should get big, but the other two are dwarfs. Hoping they look as nice as
      yours
