Superflo VS PUMP yes or no

Superflo VS PUMP yes or no
Purchaseing a new pump for a new and bigger koi pond (6000gal) the superflo vs (variable speed) looks good and should be a money saver, anyone have any experience with this pump, need some input please, thanks

The energy savings are totally speculative and BS based on lowering the speed and flow on swimming pool type systems on a timed basis. Plus it is a high head swimming pool pump and inefficient at head pressures and flows normally associated with koi ponds.

Two thumbs down for koi pond use.

Got it brand new from a close out, guy going out of business, $250 thought it would be awsome.

Great price and a good pump. Just not as energy efficient as other choices for a koi pond. You did good on the price.

Well I'm going to give it a try, when I did some calculations it is going to be cheaper to run then the couple submersible pumps I had. Hopefully.
