      Winter and Koi Toilet

Moved this past fall and need/want to create a new pond this spring (my fish are being housed at the old location till May 1st.)

Current pond had a retro bottom bottom because of the cold winters up here in NH. The pipe sat on the bottom of the pond, up the wall and out the back of the skimmer to the pump house. When winter came, I would disconnect the pipe and cap the bulkhead in the skimmer to stop water exiting the pond.

I really dont want to be looking at a pipe traversing the side of the pond.

Is there a koi toilet I can purchase having threads where I can thread in a pipe during the off season to stop any water flow from occurring?

This will allow me cap the drain, and open the pipe at the pump house stopping the pipes from freezing.....

      Thanks in advance.

Just keep the bottom drain line below the frost line until it enters the pump house and you should need to worry about it freezing.

I shut the pond down during the winter so what do i do with the pipe entering the house which is also out in the elements?
