CFKS 2018 looks to be a repeat of multiple years of success. Show tanks are taken (although ways are generally found to accommodate late comers). The vendors are in: Russell, Taro and Joe P among the koi dealers. And it is actually the CFKS&GS so not ‘just’ a koi show! The Goldfish Show is (I am pretty sure) the largest in the US.

Koi shows made nishikigoi beautiful, come and see beyond your pond. I will take half a dozen all but one of which was born in my pond. I won’t win much, if anything, but I like them. And Hazel is heading up Hospitality this year so I have no doubt that there is work to be done! I was joking with Joe White that wasn’t it great how the show just runs itself effortlessly. “Not exactly”, Sherri said. It turns out that a few volunteers make it happen, a labor of love, of service to koi and kichi.

I hope you have found some WWKC members to give the Friendship Award. Every tank is taken, so there will be lots of deserving koi not getting an award. It is so nice when a crowd-pleaser gets recognized. ...One week until the show!

You must not have seen the pm I sent you:

Would you be interested in taking the plate to the awards? I'll throw in a towel and a koi magnet for you?

I put a thread up and can't find any wwkc members, that part doesn't matter to me. I'd rather have someone happy to receive the award at the show.

I just need an address. PM me
