      Recycle the egg shells

All our egg shells are recycled in the oyster shell bag.

Do you have to clean first? I use mine in the worm bin.

Boiled and peeled or to fry, in 1/2 cracked shells straight into the oyster box and left to break down.

The egg shell is high calcium, probably calcium carbonate. The calcium will increase the GH hardness, if it dissolves and dissociates. The carbonate would become a member of the bicarbonate KH reducing the level of the acids in a pond. The pond would probably have to be on the acid side to have the egg shells dissolve. Slow acting buffer.
