the beni on the rear half looks thin, which surprised. After I watched the video I was all in. And the shiro on the pecs has me wondering because it really isn't thick. I also found the fish to be quite calm, but then I saw the split on the left pec and the tail is abraded so i am wondering if she isn't being handle more than I would.
In my book it is overall a 9 out of ten. You've given alot of time and effort into getting this fish where it is. Perhaps too much.
"Those aren't poodles. They're Dobermans with afros."
Still a young fish to fulfill the parenting duty especially she need to build some eggs to showoff her body. Kinda long and slender now. I wouldn’t guess female if was not told
Love the pattern, skin look great , red and white are superb
I will lend you this male to make a perfect pair lol if you were closer
Thank you for the comment lukef. Indeed, all the beni aren't equally thick at the moment..Do you have any suggestions how to thicken the beni without sacrificing the shiroji? She is carrying eggs so I need to pay more attention and TLC and you are correct that she is very calm fish.

Wow nice kohaku OCkoiFan..what farm is it? Right now my kohaku is carrying some eggs, hopefully it will help her to show off her body *finger crossed*. My plan is to breed her for at least one more year so she will have enough maturity in term of age and size.
