video didn't work
Might try that again, it works for me
Or you can just go to the video through this youtube link https://youtu.be/j3dZ_IuV3hg
Wouldn't have guessed it's domestic, well done i envy ur husbandry skills
This is very nice fish especially for home bred. Good skin, big and long head, long/even body plus consistent/thick beni.
Dont worry about the beni in the tail, I know a guy who specializes on removing beni on tail fin. Will be starting the surgery once the fish is big enough, around 25-30cm.
And about the other offspring there were around 8000 fry and I only found 15 with show quality patterns
Here are some of them.

looks great and love the pattern. the beni isn't very dark but does seem stable. for home grown I give it 2 thumbs up.
Yeah I agree about the beni, since they're only 3.5 months old maybe its still developing? But there is one offspring that Really got my eye.. Here it is.. Beni seems darker, different than the others, Best fish so far in my 2 years of breeding experience. Enjoy.

nice, I liked the little sanke? in the video
well that fish is another thead. love it and well done. as mentioned from my buddy I envy your husbandry skills as well. in a sucker for tancho and also multiple step kohaku. the 5 step is all before the tail which is awesome. would love to have it swimming in my pond

fish #1 was the teaser fish to me haha
I don't know about the Beni but the fish is still young and since russ said the beni on tail was the issue on 1st fish, I would be very happy at that.
this is a serious critique section but for a homegrown to make it here is intriguing for such nice fish. many were culled but great selections and congrats

It has the decent qualities but I think it is a male fish. I like your inazuma kohaku and showa better. I admire you for your breeding projects. If you don't mind, I would love to see your oyagoi. Thanks.
Thankyou, Yes I think the first koi will be a male and I think the only potential female is the inazuma kohaku.
Sure no problem, here is the oyagoi parent koi :
85cm Rose Bloodline, She's a gorgeous lady.
