      Lesions?

      Hello,
I noticed some spots on one of my fish while feeding. I Think they are lesions. I have looked at the other 7 fish and only one other had a growth on its eye, the other 6 have no symptoms. All the fish are active and I have not witnessed any rubbing on the pond walls. All of the fish have been only in this pond for over 3 years. The only introduction to the pond has been some water plants and that was over a year ago. I just tested the water quality Nitrate < 20 ppm, nitrite 0 ppm ph ~ 7.5, kh ~ 180, gh ~ 180. The pond is about 1000 gallons. The filtrations is a skimmer, sand filter, and two fiber mat filters, all are 50 gallons. I preform water 50 ~ 100 gallon water changes twice a week.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot tell what they are, but they don't appear to have reddened areas indicating infection. They could be viral, like carp pox, which will go away with temperature changes. They could also be encysted parasites, like anchor worm, but really don't look like that. Right now, I would suggest you continue to monitor them, see if they get worse or improve. There is no need for medications, right now.
