Can I have showa fry from kohaku and sanke parent?

      Hi koiphen members,
I want to have some showa for my pond. I plan to diy breeding the spring 2018. I only have one male kohaku, one male Karasu (all black koi), one female sanke, and one female bekko. Last year, unintended, I was lucky to have eggs from kokaku, bekko, and karasu. There was no showa result from the breeding. I want to try again next year between kohaku and sanke. Will I get some showa from these pairs? and should I add the male karasu to increase the odd?
Thank you for answer. Name: 20171202_161155[1].jpg

Genetically, it will be very difficult to get showa from sanke + kohaku. Sanke sumi is not the same as showa sumi, and the patterns that have been developed for the sanke, mostly stepping stones on the top of the body, are different than the wrapping type sumi patterns of the showa. Not saying it is impossible, as the breeds all started with brown carp and developed along the way to the fine art that we see today, so many of the fry are throw backs to previous genetics and out of that, you might get one. Chances may be about as good as winning the lottery, but someone has to win.

I just don’t think the offsprings of these oyagoi (parents) would be good quality at all
