Is this koi holding eggs or sick?

Recently noticed my shusui has a bulging abdomen. I've had it for about two years and don't know if it is male or female. Might it be sick or is it eggs?

All the other fish are fine. Sorry but the koi wouldn't leave the waterfall area so the pic is a pretty distorted.

Hard to say based on this one pic. It could be eggbound or ovarian tumor. The better way to figure it out would be to catch it, put it in a measuring tub or bowl and feel the abdomen. If it's firm/hard it's most likely a tumor. If it's very soft, it could just be eggs carried over.

All the fish in the picture are distorted from what looks like "waves" on the ponds surface.

However the circled fish appears to be very uniform on both side of the fish so I would lean towards eggs. However as Mike says it cannot be determined from just a picture of this quality. You would need to pull the fish to investigate further or even a better photo.

Also, if the shape of the fish is accurately conveyed by the photo, the abdomen is not the only issue. The entire tail from the abdomen bulge through the tail is very thin and uniformly thin. Im sure a lot of people better at identifying koi sickness have looked at this before me and havent said anything about it, so take it with a grain of salt. Id be worried that either her eggs of infection has caused wasting to some degree.

I noted the tail tube but all three of the other fish facing the same direction appear to have the same amount of distortion or "wasting" so I did not point it out. I figured it was the water shimmie of the ponds surface.

My post was intended as more: we would need more and better information and photo.
