      Which koi would you keep?

      These are from last years group spawn.. Any from this group you think would be worth growing out? I have individual pictures if needed. Thx!

      body wide i say keep the top left and the biggest koi you have. but all depends on what u like patternwise...

      I like the one that has the least black. The little guy with the big sumi step on its shoulder. Idk why... i like it

      The wide-body will likely turn into a football.

      I say grow them one more season then decide based on body and skin.

      At this age, sometimes size doesn't really reflect the proper selection. I'd have to agree here, some of the breeders will tell you, at this age, take the best quality over size - the top right fits that bill. Give it enough food and ample room to grow and then see after this next year, if it's worth keeping further. The rest are more just genetic throwbacks which aren't really worth keeping IMHO.

      I was leaning towards the top right myself. I will hold on to the 4 of them until next summer and see how they progress... Thx for everyone's comments!
