      Skin issue

      Hi, our goshiki seems to have some skin issue. It is notable between the reflections in the photos, kind of white, im thinking rot of some sort?

      Any advice to what is is and treatment is appreciated!

      Looks like a bacterial infection that is causing the skin to peel. I also see, in the very front of that infection that there is some deeper wound there that shows some purplish red color which is an ulcerated area.

      On a side note, your net is not really they type you want for koi. It's too deep and can cause injury to the scales of the fish. Get a real koi net and a sock net to be able to place the fish in a show/measuring tub/bowl.
