      Yea last year I moved the kohaku in like February and it reached 18” by May
      There was about 4 koi without the shower
      This year the shower added for more bio
      They already 13-15” now , hopeful for 20”+ since mr catfish’s koi always over that mark

      Wow, I thought your koi pond is about 3000 gallon or so, but your 1300 gallon is pretty over load with all the koi that you have now right lol.

      not really. he has 1800 gallons and his water is pristine.

      What are you talking about man? Water and electricity are over charge in CA so that’s all I can afford

      Yea smaller volume but I try to overkill on filtration

      I do 30-50% twice a week
      I have another 55g filter barrel that would be about 20% of water
      Sometime I drained to their shoulder when I need to get rid of things
      But most important is match the water temperature

      Sidney
      they don’t eat when I’m staring at them so I rely on the auto feeder

      You can tell who picky eater and who is not
