      Aussies

These beautiful lilies are not in everyone's pond, mainly because of availability. They do grow large, but the size can be curtailed by cutting excess pads off, keeping only 3 or 4 pads on a plant. They have large blooms which stand high above the water. These have different names or identities, but are similar in bloom color.

By the way, all of these were shipped to me as sprouted tubers by USPS Priority mail and I had no problem with them not growing. I also had Aussie tubers sent to me from Thailand and they all survived and are sprouting again this year. If you are interested in an Aussie, I suggest you get a sprouted tuber.
If you want to start growing an Aussie lily these are great "starter" varieties. I am not the hybridizer, and all three came from long time well known ponders, with one variety coming from a very prominent person. They are what you see pictured.

Obviously these are not deep blue, and I did not pretend they were. They are Australian lilies as I said.
