      lime tree produced oranges?

ok this sounds weird but my lime tree produced more limes than I could eat.I left some on the tree thinking they would drop. I went out and saw they are orange color . opened it up and all be dang smells and looks like an orange. now.

I'm not sure how this happened it has many new blooms coming in now, so will be interesting to see if I get limes or ???

Lucky you. I have hardy kiwi and figs and I'm excited. Plenty of blackberries.

No more Turkey fig to messy. No more cherry trees to feed the birds. That goes for blueberries too. No more plum trees to feed the coons.
Only apple trees and hybrid blackberries now.

Birds don't bother the apples. I have a squirrel that loves them but there is plenty for all of us.
Just a pain spraying the apples all the time.

we had green apples and the birds did get them as well as squirrels. we shot most the squirrels. we did not the tree but the **** birds made it through. my great grandmother would peel the apples and make fresh apple pie. we also had login berry pie and jelly. only problem was it taste so good other blueberry pie and jelly doesn't compare. logenberry seems to grow great In oregon. and like Berkeley California...

if you have not not had logenberry then you are missing out. it needs sugar to tone down the tartness, but is the best thing I've ever tasted
