Today Russ finished off the infeeds to the RDF, We had to raise the infeeds higher and put a 45 degree bend to lower them into the inlets, if we didn't do this we wouldn't be able to fit the main ball valves

If you look at the T piece before the fenco fitting there is a 2" riser section, this is for a flow meter, there will be a flow meter fitted to each of the 6 bottom drains and 2 skimmers and 1 mid water pick up line.

I want to be able to see how many gallons are flowing through each pipe, with the valves I can close certain lines a little and put more pressure on the drains.

Here is a photo of the flow meter.

Russ also started to do the feeds to the 4 showers again each shower will have a flow meter on the riser so we know how much water is going over the shower.

I am no expert on flow meter but what I understand is that they need to be installed in a section of straight pipe so that they see non turbulent water. If I am reading the manual for these correctly before the meter they suggest a section of straight pipe 10X (40") the pipe diameter and then 5X (20") after the meter. Also note the recommendation for mounting the meter at an angle if on horizontal pipe.

One of the showers is installed with a bypass system when I need to do treatments I can close the feed to the shower and divert it to a 4" water underwater return

Called the manufacturer and sent pictures as well. They said no problem as it will still be accurate within 2% and they can be calibrated to adjust for that.
people like to vehemently defend their purchases and find it incredulous that anything could be better
