      Asteroid the Comet

Got her from the PetSmart feeder tank January 27th. She cost 29 cents. She has gone from 14 grams to 20 grams as of today and she is doing well. She's the only single tail I have. The rest are fancies and the tiny Shubunkin I got with her sadly passed away.

Asteroid is looking good! Sorry to hear that the Shubunkin passed away. Do you know what happened?

Yes. She was the one who I said died during the freeze like two weeks ago. I didn't get her inside soon enough and she wasn't as strong as miss Asteroid here. The freeze wasn't expected and unfortunately her tiny little body couldn't weather it. Sad. I did order a new fish since I wanted to stay a exactly 20. It is not a single tail though. I really prefer fancies.

She is dead. As are most of my fish. Costia destroyed my entire back pond a short while ago. I had too many and decided not to rebuild or restock.

Thanks guys. It sucked but these things happen. They were all totally healthy and it just sucked. I spent money I didn't have trying to save them and it was a bummer.

These are the only two that survived. They're healing very well and seem like they will recover. They're still not "right" but I see huge improvements. I decided to just keep them here. I won't restock the ones I lost.
