The cleaning cycle needs to be long enough to clean however much of the drum is submerged.

Yea I may space my float sensors out a little bit but I was so happy it actually runs I don't want to touch it today. I have to order another potentiometer because my other one broke of course and that will slow the drum down but so far it's still kicking now I really need my uv light to get here to really see how clear we can get
Way to go! I see your drum is rotating clockwise. Anyone know which is better? Clockwise or counterclockwise?
mine spins the other direction but i really dont think the rotation direction matters as long as the spay nozzles are pointed in the correct direction.

you cant fix stupid no matter how hard you try.
I can change the direction by swapping wires but I don't think it matters which way
Was just curious about the direction of the drum because I chose my direction (counterclockwise) specifically to spray the debris as soon as it can. My spray bar is not directly on top of the drum but to the top right if you look at it from the side. Also, my motor is a bit undersized, so I didn't want the spray to fight against the rotation of the motor and burn it out prematurely.

I understand the reasoning to spray it as soon as the dirty filter emerges from the water, but in mine it became apparent that the trough needs all the help it can get (gravity) to have the swill it's passing to exit and not stop short. That argued for having it top center, and time will tell how that plays out.
