      Lotus- Joyful Eyes

Joyful Eyes is a fantastic dwarf lotus, only growing to 3' to 4' tall. One great attribute of lotuses is that they do not have to be put into a large pond, or even a medium sized pond, but can be in your pond. You can grow a plant in a large pot or tub that holds water. You can use the plants as decor around your pond, or anywhere around your landscape. The large leaves and blooms stand high above the water, so can be seen easily throughout the scenery. They will bloom throughout the summer so they will be a joy for more than just a month or two. With a variety of colors and sizes, they can fill almost any need.

Beautiful. And very true they can be easily grown in containers as I discovered growing lotus (from seed no less) for the first time last year. I plan to grow many more from now on.

Frank, when will you start offering plants for sale this season? Around late March or April?

Due to the warm weather off and on, I had to divide the plants early, so I divided them this week. You can see some of them on my Pond Plant page here on the Professional Vendors forum.
