Size: 120.2 KB if I hold food in front of him he wants to try to eat it but I don't know if I should let him eat it. He is very week when I let him float he tries to rock back and forth to right him self so that is why I propped him up in the Anacharis to try to save energy. also his scales feel real loose

The first thing is to give the fish time to get itself back to normal, or nearly so. Right now, I am seeing one possible scale that looks infected, so I wouldn't try to treat for that. If the fish is breathing, it will most likely come around, being out of water for an extended time is traumatic, but if they will still move water over the gills on their own, most of the time they will recover. No need for any treatment except excellent water, which water changes will help with. Do you have test kits so that you can give us test results, numbers, for ammonia, nitrite, pH (morning and evening), KH. There may be some additional information that we can provide to help, not only this fish but the others as well.

Alright I did a water test.
      7:15 pm
      Water temp 69deg
      ph 7.8
      High ph 8.2
      Ammonia 0
      Nitrite 0
      Nitrate 0
      Phosphate 0.5
I was watching him earlier and he poop and about 10 bubbles came out and brownish liquid I don't know if that is good or not.
      Thanks again Eddie

The brownish liquid does not sound real good, could be diarrhea, but could be internal issues. The fish will either regain a swimming attitude and continue to improve, or will not, and there is nothing that can be done to improve the odds, except clean water and warm temperatures, and it looks like you have both. See if the fish is doing better tomorrow.

Get an air stone delivering air through the mouth out the gills

Hold the fish in the downward position till you get a good result.

      Could take a couple hours.

      19 years old! Worth it.

I revived my two big Chagoi by massaging and thumping the area between the pecs out of pure anger and desperation.

Both fish were lifeless no gill movement.Nothing

I was seated with my wife in the pond holding their heads down and air from my bottom drain air stones passing over and through their mouths

Eventually they both showed movement and we carried on thumping beating and massaging.

I had pics but some swine stole my PC. May he rot in hell.

An Easter weekend in the Southern Hemisphere, waters was warm enough.

More scales are coming off and a lot more redness almost like bruising on the under body and sides. He is very limp still breathing eyes move around like he's looking at me. I have a airstone in front of him now. I've set a 150gal rubber maid tub with about 60 gallons water half from pond and the other fresh have a power head with mushroom fountain. Added salt to .1% I don't have a refractometer so I did it by 1 tsp. For every gallon does this sound right. Should I add a heater the other problem I have is since he floats I have under some plants if I move him to this tub i need a way to keep him submerged.
      Thanks again Eddie

Here's a calculator to figure how much salt. Looks like about 1/2 pound in 60 gallons to make .1%

Does he keep himself righted yet? The floating could be a problem with the swim bladder and that will have to be monitored. In a QT if he is just floating at the surface, but righted, give him time, and don't worry about keeping him down. I assume that because you are keeping him down by having him held by plants, that he is not swimming on his own, and this would be problematic at this late time. With scales coming off, order some Tricide Neo to use as a spray on him if the area becomes red, as in infected. Also get a salt meter, because if he pinecones due to the trauma, you will need to raise and maintain a high salt content. We will go into that, if and when needed.

There is still hope, but not much at this point in time. The longer he stays alive the better the chances, but I would have expected more recovery by now.

You could move him to the QT, though I don't know if it would be helpful or not. If you move him in, bring the temperature to 78 or 80F.

If it doesn't recover most of its ability to swim within the next couple of days, the humane thing to do would be to put the fish down. We always want to try to save them, but sometimes the damage is too severe.
