Any ammonia binder that API test will be accurate with?

Had to set up QT tank in basement for 2 koi. One large, one medium. 100gal tank is all that I have. The ammonia level is too high right now. I know I'll probably have to do daily water changes, but wanted to know if there is an ammonia binder that will still allow me to use API test for accurate results. Or any other test- I'll go buy. Or if it's not possible to test after the binder is in. Don't know enough about it. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's not so much what binder will work, but what test kit will work.
Ammonia binders like Safe and Prime are ionizing the ammonia to make it less harmful... converting it from NH3 to NH4. API test
kits test for a total of both. But a Seachem Alert Card will only measure NH3 so it should show only what harmful ammonia is left
      after using an ammonia binder.

Thanks Steve. I have one in my pond. Had heard that it wasn't always accurate- but I'm sure it's close enough to help me out in this situation. Important I get the binder in asap so I'll get both tomorrow morning. Realized after the fact saying one Koi was large and the other medium doesn't help much considering the varying size of Koi, lol. I was just referring to the size of mine. 13" & 6" Again, thanks for quick response.
