      Pearlscales

Hi all. I took a break from the goldfish hobby for about six months now because, I am really busy with my studies, being in 11th grade and I can't keep up with all the maintenance needed. I didn't want my fishes to suffer and be neglected so I rehomed them.

Now, upon reevaluating myself, I knew that I still want to have goldfish but just not now. So I'm thinking of running my tank again on June 2017 and I want it to be just for pearlscales.

My tank is only 50 gals, yes its small 🙇. Will it be enough for two pearlscales? the filtration will be by an over-head filter and sponge filters. How do you groom your pearlscales? Thank you very much!

This here is my pearlscale that I have rehomed. I miss her so much.
Share the pictures of your pearlscales as well if you have them 😊 thank you!

Nice pearlscale! I love pearlscales! Check out cincinvincent on Instagram, I think he has nearly 10 beauties in a 20 but he does water changes every other day. Generally at least 10g per fish is recommended, I think sponge filters are the safest for pearlscales and most efficient in general.
