Cute little eggs. Now I want some.
They're growing well!
I'm enjoying following your Ranchu Ranch adventure! They've always been my very favorite kind of fishes. Other than koi, Ranchu were my first love.

The TVR bug is hard to shake, you have some nice ones there, my only suggestion would be feeding more blood worms. when u think you have fed enough throw a little more in there. I would suggest about 7-8 cubes 2-3 times a day for 10 fish.
Although, out of curiosity and learning, why? Are they too skinny? Not growing fast enough? Wen lacking? Not enough bulk?
I'm just a happy to have them right now but would like to learn the finer points of development.
I've been lurking on the Goldie forum for quit some time as well
It appears that some have tails which are turned down more so than others. What is the desirable characteristic? Will the ones with big bellies grow into them? I am enjoying the growth updates.
I think they are supposed to fan out at a certain angle and have strong leading rays and split at the top.
But remember these are pet grade and learning fish.
And my husbandry/grooming skills are lacking...they're supposed to be in 4" of water and gorging on bloodworms. I have them in 12" and apparently am starving them
I'm in no rush. Right now they are fun to watch and feed and grab out of the water. I'm sure as I get further into the hobby and become more anal, it'll loose some of the mystic. So I'm going to enjoy this phase as long as I can...
