Oregon desert brineshrimp but they are closed down due to a drought and they stopped carrying fbw.

So I think I'll be getting 50 pounds from brineshrimp direct but they are back ordered too.

    Thanks.

It's pretty much the gold standard/perfect food for goldfish. It really packs on the pounds and wen/futon (head growth).

Welcome to Ranchu. Are you a Victorian Cichlid keeper?

Let's start a new thread, not because your stepping in mine but rather so the content in the forum is more organized.

Post some pictures of your set up, of the fish, their history and blood line.

Also talk about your plans and we'll cover some of the basics.
David...I hadn't started a new thread because I found out (by reading tons of data) and observing my babies have a dorsal fin. So, not Ranchu..but Ryukins.

They are doing well. It was good to see the confirmation of your fish to gauge their progress. They are in a uncontrolled environment where a unlimited food supply is there for the taking in the form of algae and pond slime. A couple have developed beer bellies At what age is the majority of their growth done?

Back inside after a summer in the greenhouse. They've been down in the mid to low 50s for a while, now in the warm garage for some fattening up.

This is my largest high quality fish, I believe the bowl is 8.5 inches in diameter.

I haven't had a lot of growth (length size lately) as I went on vacation in August and by mid September my water temps were already in the low 60s /high 50s. They did continue to put on girth and head growth during this time. The best fish have been moved inside and I hope to put some pounds on them again soon.

If they are below 50F no food.

And slow, low feeding when in the low 60s.
