      2 day spawn....need some advice

So..I have a main pond and a separate smaller pond attached that I use come spawning time. I had two females and two males in there. One female spawned and I saved eggs into a separate tub.
The next day the second female spawned before I could move everyone back to main pond. Saved some more eggs again.
But now I have thousands of eggs on the bottom of the pond and I'm seeing fry in this pond.

There's now too many. Should I put a large koi back in to clean up in there or just drain this one down and loose all thats in there?
I'm under the impression that its not a good idea to just leave the eggs as they are. I could try and siphon with the hopes that some of the fry make it.

The siphon idea might work okay, though I will offer this other idea. It is probably good to get a most of the left-over eggs out of there to keep from messing up water quality. I gather that you would like to keep some of the fry. You can use a net with small holes (smaller than the eggs) such as a net for cleaning the bottom of a swimming pool, to dip out the largest clumps of eggs.

If you want to reduce the fry numbers a lot, just dip the eggs out rather thoroughly, and some fry will remain in the pond.

If you want to save most of the fry, dip the eggs as I described and put them gently into a tub of shallow pond water (say 5 to 20 gallons) then very gently swoosh the eggs around so that most of the fry swim out to the sides, away from the egg clump. Then dip the eggs out with a small net and put the water with the fry, back into the pond. [Put the eggs somewhere far away or the next day your yard will smell like rotten eggs.]
