This shower is an ideal design for minimizing 1) noise 2) evaporation 3) water cooling effect in winter time.
What size hole saw did you use for the 2" pipe? Also how did you hold the pipe in the box? Pvc glue? Thanks Ken P.S. great job!!!!!!

I took some pictures to show you how I connect my shower to my TPRs. I only have three TPRs
I connected two outlets into in one TPR.
Other two outlets are connected separately.
One of them is connected as a bypass. If I need do PP or other med treatment. I can bypass the shower filter.
Your craftsmanship is very good on this shower, and imitation is the most sincere form of flattery
Just make sure you keep the water level inside the shower as low as possible to avoid too much pressure on those glue joints. PVC glue works so well in pipe fittings due to the large surface area of the glue joint. In your case you only have the width of the butt joint as a seal, so it will not take as much pressure. Good job though.

I have to say that I liked your work. How are the showers working? I need to this on my pond, my question was how to glue the PVC but I got all I needed here so thank you for sharing. I have access to PVC panels so I should be easier to do.
Want to make me one of these and Ill buy ;-)
If you can work with wood you can build one. The pvc trim board is basically the same. Its actually nice because it doesn't spilt and creates water tight seams with pvc cement.

The downside is that all the common structural plastics (PP, HDPE, and PVC) are rather soft and unless the panels are heavily braced, can distort and bow - sometimes catastrophically - with water pressure.

I'm sorry for reviving this thread but I want to build something similar, any updates on how it's working? Any recommendations or things to do differently?
I'm probably going to build a low-profile version due to the very high cost of electricity, else it's consumed pumping water to the top of a traditional multi-level shower.
Keep in mind that PVC is widely available through plastic outlets up to 4' x 8' sheets, so pretty much the sky's the limit for what you can build. Plus, if you make an accurate drawing and send it to the shop, they'll accurately cut the panels for you for about $2 a cut. This can save a lot of time and avoids accidental or inaccurate cuts.
