      National Fish Pharmacy

Found this looking for something else. Pretty impressive on treatments and medications.

Under shopping, I see they sell citric acid crystals. I wonder, what for?

Citric acid is Vitamin C. It can be sprinkled onto food, or added into paste foods. I usually just use fresh orange juice to reconsitiute the dry powder I use for the paste food base: does the same thing, and it's fresh.

I try to do everything naturally Mike but occasionally need some extra. EWWWW pain in my back. Where's the Ibupropin?

I'm lucky - my friend is a vet but doesn't know what drugs work for fish. I'm trying to get her to branch out. She'll buy what I ask for though.

My vet wanted me to go to a vet at UT and get a prescription and he would order what I needed. Said it would be cheaper than if I got it from UT. (University of TN vet) Does a vet really expect a person to bring a fish to see them? Apparently there are few fish vets in my area.

I take my book with me. If it something she doesn't have or can't order, she writes a script for the drug store.
