Picked up these from a local hobbyist. Took a long time for my untrained eye to pick out an decent ones.
Thanks.

Nothing?
Did the hobbyist breed them? I like the 2nd one, looks to have the best skin, but a little thin in the tail area. On the Kohaku's right side, is that an injury? If so, you might want to keep an eye on it.
Yes he breed them. Culling by survival of the fittest tho I think. Not a injury, more Hi. (Hi/beni is very red).
As you have placed this on pond "mutt", they are really not that bad.
The first 2 looks interesting.
For whatever reason, I cannot make out the eyes on the Kohaku.
The second fish (Showa/Sanke) looks interesting.

To answer the Kohaku eye comment, they are sunken in slightly. I am unsure if at this point if it is genetic, disease(probably) or just malnutrition. All fish are in quarantine. The top two fish immediately developed fin rot, combined with skin rot? Some kind of skin sores. Antibiotics(kanaplex and metroplex, both in water and food),methylene blue and 0.3% salt do not seem to be having any effect. Prognosis is poor for these two at this point. Seemed healthy when I got them, but they went straight into new, treated, water. So? At a loss. Damage is progressing in hours.
I don't much at all about it, but I like #2 best. Don't know why....just seem the colors are more balanced.
Well, coming from your ER thread recently, then to this, I see these fish looked like they were fine when received with no outward signs of any type of infection whatsoever. You seriously need to do something to your system as it is what has caused the loss of those two fish within 48 hours of receipt. If those tails/fins/skin look like that, that quickly something is definitely burning them!

His PH is 6.6~, mine is 8.3~. Could the big PH swing be causing an immune system crash? All medication added was correct dosage, checked to see if they could be added together(no problems). Only other thing in the tank was prime and water. I am unsure what could have burned them. I have plenty of other fish with no issues. Only fish from this individual have problems.
