The new year is here and we dream of spring being around the corner. Remembering the past, we look towards the future.

Beautiful pic, Nancy. We hit 67* here today, , but we are going back down to cold temps starting tomorrow. Come on spring. Come early this year!
Can you bring spring back with you, Colby?
Glad to see your temps up also, Nancy. And I like seeing those pics!
You guys are killing me!!! It has been warmer here than usual this time of year, which means upper 30s. It's supposed to get to a whopping 34 today. Spring can't be that far off, can it???
The horses are shedding, so spring looks to be early this year.
Tell me this looks like a horse who lives in Washington State, and hasn't had a blanket on him at all this season... I've curried giant wads out of him, and this was January 17th when this was taken...
Rome, that is a beautiful horse! I love the color, and that her shedding is a sign of an early spring makes me love her more! I do not know how many "horsepower" it takes to drive in an early spring, but I am all for it! I am ready for spring, and I am not alone!
After 4 or 5 days of "spoiler" days (days that were sunny and 50* or higher), our weather man predicts colder temps, and tonight and tomorrow we have a chance of snow!
Now back to our previous threads thoughts of spring coming early. They say positive thinking has power, so lets all think together positive thoughts for an early spring...
It has gone from a sunny 67* on Tuesday to a sleet and rain filled day with a high of 36*. Winter is not over for sure.
Come on spring! I am tired of this mess called winter.
More memories of 2014...
Saw this on Facebook and after reading it I thought about my complaining about the cold here.
Well, we are not that cold, but we are still too cold for my blood.Photographer Amos Chapple set out to discover exactly what it takes to live in Oymyakon, Russia, the coldest town on Earth, where the record low reached -96.16° F.

On Friday night when I went to put wood in the woodstoves at around 2 o'clock, the snow was falling and a half inch blanket of snow covered the ground. It was beautiful, but I was happy to see it gone by sundown Saturday. Today it is just cold and around 40*.
Another day closer to spring!
Nice pics. Can y'all list the variety when you show the pics? I'd love an ID. Thanks!

It is cold here, but compared to the northeast, I should not complain. I hope and pray that all in the blizzard's path will be okay, and that power will be restored quickly to those who have lost power. We have cold temps, but at least the power is on and the heaters are working as well as the rest of the electrical appliances and lights.
Spring is coming! Keep thinking positive thoughts! Enjoy Bolivia in the meantime!
It's not cold but it's yucky and gray here in western WA. We've had a few rare days of sunshine too, highly unusual.
Happily my friends my orchids are putting on their show, and my best beloved Momilani gave me cheer for winter.
Nice orchid, Rome. Post more pics of them. We are trying to make it through the wintertime blues.
A nice day, up to 48* here today, and sunny. Itis suposed to be 51* tomorrow and will be raining in the morning. Hopefully will clear up in the afternoon and will continue to stay warm. Another cold spell coming through for the weekend.
Happy dreams of spring! Bull's Eye should warm your heart.
